In the early morning of the 9th of June, the illusion of invincibility was stripped away from the SNP. The tartan smokescreen had lifted and the bare bones of this most ruthless of political parties were on display for all to see.

Two Sides of the Same Manure
With the events of the last year or so, America has seemingly been boiled down to just two sides that absolutely hate each other. There is no room to work together or get anything done as long as there is a two party system and our founding fathers knew this when they formed America. Yet what happened to their ideals and hopes for this country? The entire scheme has been reduced to two completely separate sides that get at each others' throats whenever possible over whatever possible. It's no wonder anything can be accomplished in this nation when the only people in power (no matter who is president) don’t actually represent the public. This system has been divided for so long that every single person that was in the middle can only vote for the person they ever so slightly disagree with less.

Is Third-Wave Feminism Ruining the World?
When I was in my twenties, I would’ve called myself a “Feminist.” However, now that I am nearing the age of thirty-one in the year 2017, I would never use the term “Feminist” when describing myself. Upon entering the world of social media and YouTube more frequently during the last few years, I have noticed that I am not the only woman who is no longer identifying as a “Feminist” to society. It made me wonder why this is. I knew why I was no longer saying I was a “Feminist” to describe my identity, but that didn’t mean I knew why the rest of the world did. So, I dove in. I began researching, watching all the videos I could and reading all the articles I could. I read articles and watched videos Feminists wrote and made. I read articles and watched videos ex-Feminists wrote and made. I realized many of the women who came out as an “Ex-Feminist” felt the exact same way I did about Feminism and its views.

What Is the Alt-Right?
Every other news headline involving President Trump's election has involved murmurs of the alt-right movement. But, on the whole, most people don't seem to fully understand what is the alt-right movement, what they want, or even where they came from. Have you been one of the many wondering "What is the alt-right? You're not alone.

This Is a United Kingdom?
The UK General Election 2017 was the result of Theresa May's Government deciding that a snap general election was the best way forward for "the country". I agreed that it is a difficult position that Mrs May had been placed in, and the desire to bring "the country" together to rein in a strong front for the UK to sit round the negotiation table for Brexit that would honour the democratic will of the people of the UK to leave.

What Is Authenticity and Why Is It Important?
Authenticity is a term meaning real, genuine, or credible; the opposite meaning false, phony or dishonest. When ascribed to culture, it becomes rather complex. We must put into categories, then, and try to examine the meanings of authentic culture and inauthentic culture to answer the question.

White Women and Our Imprints
As we strive to bring balance to our history and present situation, it seems some people are having strong reactions. I have been noticing a huge backlash towards feminism, predominantly from men who identify as white, but also from white women.

Golden Sexism
When it's late at night, there's nothing better than cuddling up with your favorite sexy, senior ladies. Who are also known as The Golden Girls. As they fight, date, and eat cheesecake, you can imagine that you will be doing the same thing when you are their age. Hallmark has the marathons at night, and as I was deep into one, an episode struck me the wrong way. "Strange Bedfellows" took me out of my deep sleepy haze and got my brain to thinking: This episode exploited and exposed sexism to the highest degree.

This Fictional Memo to the President from 1989 Predicted Terrorism in the US. Top Story - June 2017.
Editor's Note from Omni, 1989: On my corner, the drug guys hang out cracking (which in this context means trading insults) until launched to the pay phone by their beeping pagers. Current fashion dictates that you clip these in the bottom crook of pants pockets.

James Comey Versus Rod Rosenstein on Firing, Not Donald Trump
James Comey, formerly Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, is a person sequentially loathed and loved, criticized and praised, a person who both Republicans and Democrats have severely criticized. A cat with at least nine lives it seems.
