Is It Fear or Hate?
I believe that I was brought up with an open mind. My parents are two polar opposites in terms of opinion, politics, likes and dislikes, meaning I could always see the other persons point of view, though empathy came when I grew and experienced the world for myself. And one thing I noticed about the inhabitants of our little ball of dirt; why are we always angry about something?

The Truth about Donald Trump’s Racist “Shithole” Comment
It was one hell of a week for Trump, but nothing new other than the gross fanning-of-the-flames caused by the shit-show called the legacy media losing their integrity faster than their ratings. For those who are living under a rock, Business Insider writes:

We Gave Him a Chance
The United States has, throughout its history, experienced some grueling hardships: wars, economic depressions, shootings, etc. In spite of these events, we have always been able to recover and continue to be a strong nation. But what happens when we reach uncharted waters in that our own president is the direct cause of our turmoil? President Donald Trump, a title that sounded ludicrous up until his improbable victory over the heavily favored and experienced Hillary Clinton, has taken the reigns and led us down a turbulent and chaotic road. When the election results were in there was an overwhelming sense of shock, fear, and uncertainty; but optimists like myself were willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and chance to lead and maybe prove the critics wrong. But now, as his presidency nears its one-year anniversary, it has been enough of a sample size to prove his critics right.

The Original Black Lives Matter
In honor of Martin Luther King Day (January 15, 2018) and the upcoming Black History Month, I thought I would write a piece about what I consider to be an original version of Black Lives Matter. The issue with African-Americans being treated like second class citizens is a touchy subject and yes, I agree with you on it being despicable that African-Americans are being killed and no one is held accountable for it or even willing to talk about it. That is why I am posting this article. For I am willing to address the issue and I fear not the outcome.

Feeling Helpless
When you think you are about to die. Feeling Helpless On January 13, 2018 at 8:07 AM, I heard a familiar noise. A noise that means there may be a flash flood or an abducted child, but this time the noise meant something far more sinister. This time the noise meant that me and my family were more than likely going to die in less than 15 minutes. The feeling that washes over you when know this will be the outcome, but at the same time you want to live so you do everything you can to protect yourself and your family.

The Americans Who Can't Vote: Puerto Ricans
I asked a good friend of mine a question the other day and I’d never felt so awkward or odd after asking someone something in all my life. I felt entitled; I felt as if I was in a superior social class and I felt like, in some way, the question made them beneath me. Who was I talking to? A Puerto Rican friend of mine. And what did I ask? "Who would you vote for if you were allowed to vote for the P.O.T.U.S?"

8 Martin Luther King Quotes That 2018 Really Needs Right Now
Famous for his speech that turned the world on its head and right back over again, Martin Luther King Jr's legacy has surpassed the life expectancy of influence on our great men and women of history. He was the pinnacle of inspiration for the likes of Americans growing up in frustration and struggle like no era has ever seen before. We saw flickers of reflections in our late president, Barack Obama, yet his replacement has brought back dark visions of times past that beg today's generation for wise words to follow. Words that only men like Mr. King could provide. In honor of MLK and the brilliant impact he has had on our society, and not just on African Americans but in the world and those who remain on it, here are 8 quotes by Martin Luther King that we should remember for 2018.

Op-ed from an Avowed Anti-Trumper: If Those of Us on “The Left” Condone an Artistic Blacklist, Will Nazism Be Next? (Or, Why Conservatism in 2018 Hollywood Is the New “Gay.”)
The provocative headline is only partially clickbait. Softening it for effect or to make myself look better won’t happen. I want this one read, and read hard. I want the word “radioactive” associated with this story, and even with my name for the near-future, for boldly stating such “nonsense.” Why? Because I want you all to think, intently, where we’re headed.

Coverup
They have always said that history repeats. As the United States continues to fall into disgrace with Trumpism being the order of the day it should come to no surprise to begin to see the similarities of what took place in Germany in the 1930s and what is taking place today. By order or decree Trump and the Republicans have already set in motion and by design directives that will be one of the most insidious objectives our government has planned in our nations history.
