When survival meets greed in the middle of nowhere.

The film begins with a man named Sam who is traveling on a train. His life is not going well at all. At every turn, he faces problems. It is revealed that he is going to a deserted, desert-like city where he has to start a new job.

Inside the train, Sam is sitting alone and eating food. A woman is sitting in front of him with her child. Seeing their condition, Sam gives his food to them.

When he gets off at the station, the entire place is empty. Although the company had said that a man named Rick would be there to receive him, Sam looks around and then sees a man standing inside a room. Sam tries to talk to him, but the man ignores him. Sam asks him where the bathroom is, and the man only points with a gesture. Sam feels angry but stays quiet and goes to the washroom.

After finishing, a man’s voice comes from outside: “Hurry up, brother. Even water costs money here.” Actually, this is Rick, the same man who is supposed to take Sam to the company. Sam says, “I’m done, brother, coming out.”

Now both sit in the car and head toward the company. On the way, Rick says, “You’ll have to pay $300 for the travel.” Sam is shocked and says, “Man, the company said $200.” Rick angrily says, “If you can pay $300, fine. Otherwise, get out.” Sam thinks there is no other option, so he agrees.

After some time, the heat becomes extreme. Sam tries to turn on the AC, and Rick immediately gets angry, saying, “Don’t touch the AC or the engine will fail.” Suddenly, the car’s tire gets punctured. Rick does nothing himself and tells Sam, “Come on, change the tire.” Helplessly, Sam starts changing the tire.

During this, he sees a dog killing another dog. Seeing this, Sam gets extremely scared. Rick comes and says, “Hey man, why are you shaking? This happens all the time.” Then Rick himself kills the injured dog so it doesn’t suffer more. With great difficulty, Sam changes the tire, and then both sit back in the car.

At night, they stop to refuel and decide to spend the night there. Both gather firewood and light a fire. Rick asks, “Why are you going so far for this company?” Sam says, “Man, life is very hard. I don’t want to depend on anyone. I believe I’ll get a good job in that company.”

Rick says, “You’re a good person, but the place you’re going to — everyone there sucks blood. An honest man doesn’t survive there.” Sam says, “Let’s see what happens.”

The next day, the journey starts again. Now Sam is driving and Rick is sleeping. Because of the extreme heat, Sam secretly turns on the AC. After some time, the engine fails. Rick wakes up and gets angry at Sam. “Didn’t I tell you not to touch the AC?” He angrily gets out of the car. Sam also gets out and apologizes. Rick becomes even angrier and says, “Shut up. I don’t want to hear your voice.”

After that, Sam goes to urinate. A little distance away, he sees a shining stone. When he goes closer and looks carefully, he realizes it is pure gold. He immediately calls Rick, “Hey, come here and check. Am I dreaming or what?”

As soon as Rick sees it, he is shocked. He takes out a lighter, lights it, and puts it near the rock. He says, “If it turns black, it’s a normal stone. If not, then it’s pure gold.” The rock remains unchanged — meaning the gold is confirmed.

Now both take out their tools and start digging to extract the gold. They use all their strength, but the rock doesn’t move at all. Rick tries to tie the gold to the car using a rope to pull it, but the rope breaks because the gold is too heavy. They keep trying the whole day, digging continuously.

As the sun starts to set, Rick says, “Quickly collect firewood. Wild dogs are roaming nearby. If we light a fire, they’ll get scared and run away.” Both collect wood, light a fire, and start dancing and celebrating. Rick hugs Sam and says, “I’ll buy you a full-AC car.”

At night, they sit and make a plan. Rick says, “This gold rock is very big. Even if we dig for months, we won’t be able to take it out. So one person will stay here near the rock, and the other will go to bring a digging machine.”

Sam says, “Brother, you go. I’ll take care of the rock.” Rick says, “No, you go. I’ll stay near the rock. This is a desert. There are wild animals everywhere. You won’t be able to tolerate it.” Sam says, “It’s okay, don’t worry about me. I’ll survive. Anyway, you’re a thief. You might run away with the gold. How can I trust you?” Rick says, “Fine, I’ll go. You take care of the gold.”

The next day, they divide the rations. Rick gives Sam a satellite phone so they can stay in contact. Rick says, “One of my friends has a digging machine. I’ll bring it. Just pray the car doesn’t break down. It may take me five days to return.” Then Rick leaves.

After Rick leaves, Sam covers the gold with soil so that if someone passes by, they cannot see it. He also sets up a small tent near the rock and keeps all his belongings inside it. Before the sun sets, he collects wood so that he can light a fire at night.
At night, he lights the fire and sits. He eats a little from his food and keeps the rest. Suddenly, he hears the sounds of wild dogs and realizes that because he is alone, he is an easy prey. He gets scared and sleeps holding a knife in his hand.
The next morning, his eyes open due to the bright sunlight. It is very hot and he feels tired, his sleep is incomplete, and the sun’s heat is burning his skin. At that moment, the satellite phone rings. Sam runs to the phone but the call is already disconnected.
He sits inside the tent, looking at the gold, thinking that after selling it, he will first buy a big house. Then Sam walks around the nearby area. A little distance away, he sees a crashed airplane. He quickly goes near it and decides to live there, but from there, the gold rock goes out of his sight. So he picks up some pieces of the plane and makes a tent near the gold rock.
Sam lies down for a while to save water and reduce tiredness. Suddenly, he hears sounds as if someone is stealing the gold rock. He goes out but finds nothing — the rock is still the same. He sits near the rock and gets an idea — why not cut a small piece of gold? Sam picks up a stone and starts breaking the gold. He manages to break a big piece and cleans the dirt off it, keeping it beside him.
During this time, Rick’s call comes. Sam says, “Hey brother, where are you? The sun has made me miserable.” Rick says, “Man, the engine has broken down, I’ll be a little late.” Sam says, “Hurry up, I’ll die of thirst.” Rick says, “It’ll take me a few more days to reach,” and hangs up the call.
At night, Sam sits near the fire while the dogs start howling from all directions. Sam fears they might attack together. He holds a burning stick in his hand to scare them away. He stays awake the whole night out of fear.
Morning comes. He wants to sleep but the sun has burned his skin. Due to the pain, he cannot sleep. He goes to drink water but very little water is left. Then he sees a snake coming toward him. He tries to kill it so that he can eat it, because food is also almost finished. But while killing the snake, his water bottle falls and only a little water remains.
Then he goes again to the airplane area, hoping he might find something to eat or drink. There, he sees a person coming from far away. He quickly hides inside the plane, but that person comes near and asks him to come out. When he comes close, it turns out to be a girl who wants to talk to him. But Sam refuses to talk.
The girl asks, “What are you doing sitting here? Why did you choose this place?” Sam says nothing and stays silent. After a while, Sam says to her that she can stay in this plane and he leaves. The girl says, “You’re hiding something from me.” She starts following Sam and reaches the camp with him.
She keeps asking again and again, “How did you reach here?” Sam becomes nervous and thinks that before she sees the gold, he must make her go away somehow. He says, “Why have you come after me? There’s no need for you here. You should leave.” The girl says, “I won’t go until I find out why you’re trying to send me away. Surely, you’re hiding something from me.”
At that moment, her eyes fall on the gold. She says, “Oh, so that’s the matter. You’ve become the owner of all this gold? You’ll take all this treasure alone? Listen, I won’t go until I get half of it.” Sam gets angry. He picks up a stick and hits her straight on the head. The girl dies right there. Sam goes into shock. He cannot believe that out of greed, he killed someone.
Then he composes himself, picks up all her valuable things, digs a pit, and buries her body. After a while, he sees a dog trying to dig out the body from the pit. Sam runs and pushes the dog away, takes the body out, and burns it with fire.
The next day, his eyes open with the sound of the phone ringing. Sam says to Rick, “Hey brother, where are you? I’m dying of hunger. If you don’t come soon, I’ll die.” Rick says, “Sorry man, I know you’re in pain. I’m coming soon, but the digging machine is very slow.” Sam becomes restless. Hunger, thirst, and fear of wild animals — he’s completely exhausted.
After some time, he sees a car passing by on the road. He thinks, “Why not take one piece of gold and leave?” But his greed for more gold stops him. Before evening, he collects wood, but suddenly a very strong sandstorm starts. He runs toward the tent, but the storm blows it away. To save his life, he runs here and there, but then a tree falls on him.
When the storm stops, he finds himself buried in sand and a wooden piece has pierced through his stomach. But his greed for gold is so strong that instead of removing the wood, he goes toward the gold. He searches all around and finally finds one piece of gold. He becomes happy, then removes the wood from his stomach. A lot of blood flows from the wound. He ties it with a cloth, but the bleeding doesn’t stop.
Finally, he lights a fire, heats a piece of metal, and presses it on the wound — the pain makes him faint. When he wakes up, he sees that girl everywhere. His mind starts spinning. The phone rings — Rick says, “If anyone finds out about the gold, kill them.”
At that time, the girl appears again, this time without any wounds on her face. She gives him water and tries to help. Then she says, “Just tell me, did my twin sister pass from here?” Then Sam realizes that this is not his imagination, but the twin sister of the girl he killed. He says, “No, I didn’t see anything. Please leave.” The girl leaves.
After a while, wild dogs come close and surround him. He calls Rick, crying, but the dogs attack him and start tearing him apart. From a distance, Rick is watching everything through binoculars. He had already reached there with the machine days ago and was just waiting for Sam to die.
When he comes to take the gold, suddenly an arrow hits him straight in the chest, and he dies too. The one who shot the arrow is none other than the twin sister of that girl.

If you were in Sam’s place, would you risk everything for gold — or walk away while you still could?"
