Call them what they are, not protesters, not rioters; DOMESTIC TERRORISTS.

Capitol Building Mob

Let’s call them what they are: DOMESTIC TERRORISTS.

I am an American and I have never been more ashamed to be one than this moment.

I’ve seen a lot of terrible things happen live on the news and in real time on Social Media, but this is the event that has haunted me the most.

The past five years since Trumps election have been the scariest in my entire life. I am a white woman who lives in California and my life has not been as hard as others, but there have been so many horrible firsts for me since November 3rd, 2015:

  • Harassed on public transportation
  • Harassed at work
  • Sexually assaulted at work
  • Sexually assaulted on the subway
  • Cornered by police when I was just reading a book
  • Been chased by police for being too close to them arresting someone
  • Physically abused by customers
  • Verbally harassed
  • Received threatening emails, letters, voicemails when someone outed me for voting for Biden

There have been multiple accounts for each bullet point and that’s just me, one woman. So many people in my life have been through more than that in the past five years. That’s not including all the horrible news reports about the President and his henchmen throughout this entire time.

The election in 2020 was so scary, I hated driving home because on multiple corners were trump supporters waving flags and trying to flag down cars to wave. God forbid you make eye contact and not wave, then they would surround the car and scream and shout and shake the car so violently. I was waiting at a light once and a trump supporter threw a water bottle at my car trying to get me to wave at them and I was shaking so bad I had to pull over into a park before I got home. Another time the week before the vote, one guy jumped onto a car next to me at a stoplight and tried breaking the windshield because the car had shouted “Biden 2020!”.

I held onto my ballot for days and I was debating even dropping it off because when I drove by to drop it off the first time there was a guy in military getup and a MAGA hat walking around the parking lot and would try to stop and ask people who they voted for. I drove off and cried in my car for an hour.

I’m so tired of being scared all the time, I live in a primarily Republican city so I can’t walk ten feet without someone in some kind of Trump gear.

Then on January 6th, while I was randomly scrolling through TikTok someone had recorded video of Trump Supportors outside the capitol building while Congress was confirming the electoral college votes. I honestly didn’t think anything of it until about ten minutes later when someone else had a video of them climbing the walls.

I watched primarily through TikTok and some peeking on CNN and MSNBC websites as these people charged into the capitol building and took it over.

I’m still in shock.

It was so easy for them. In less than an hour from seeing them push past police barricades to them walking down the halls of the capitol and then some Jack Off sitting in the senate majority leaders seat in full MAGA gear grinning.

Are you fucking kidding me?

The police were taking selfie’s with these DOMESTIC TERRORISTS. These DOMESTIC TERRORISTS raided the private offices of Senators and Representatives. These DOMESTIC TERRORISTS walked in with zip tie handcuffs looking for people. These DOMESTIC TERRORISTS had time to build gallows on the steps of the capitol building and hang a noose. These DOMESTIC TERRORISTS were ready to tie up and drag people to the noose to murder them, all in the name of Donald Trump.

Don’t call these cowards, these insurrectionists, these pathetic worthless crybabies protesters. They are DOMESTIC TERRORISTS. Do you need a definition to remind you what that means?

do·mes·tic ter·ror·ist

noun

noun: domestic terrorist; plural noun: domestic terrorists

a person who commits terrorist acts in their own country against their fellow citizens.

"armed domestic terrorists gained entry into the facility"

Not since 1814 has the Capitol building been violated like this, and this was by Americans. I’m sorry I broke my own rule; DOMESTIC TERRORISTS VIOLATED THE CAPITOL BUILDING.

Donald Trump and his band of soulless, spineless losers incited a mob a few blocks down the street and sent them to the Capitol Building. He invited DOMESTIC TERRORISTS to the nation's Capital and basically tried to pull a real life Hunger Games on us.

Some of these terrorists are cops, capitol police, real estate agents, typical moms next door, and of course Florida men. We all knew at least one person from Florida was going to be prominent in the looting of our Nation's Capital, and he walked out with Nancy Pelosi’s podium. Some of them are just regular people who, if they didn’t make their political alliances known, are like our average neighbor. I think that’s what makes this all the more dangerous; the fact that these everyday average people can be so easily coerced into committing treason with just a basic Trump speech and then a clear road to the Capitol.

Now there’s talk about a second invasion of DC just before the inauguration of Joe Biden. And it’s not just the District of Columbia that we have to be mindful of, there were Trump Supporters at several major state capitols and then a mob in LA that harassed and beat a black woman who was just walking home.

We have to be better than these domestic terrorists, but does that mean that we have to take a beating for it? All over the country, men and women from different races and cultures adn who identify within the LGBTQ community, every day they might face ridicule and hatred for just being themselves. So many people keep their real selves hidden, whether its in the closet or avoiding talk of their religion, because there is so much hatred in the world. Does it really matter in the end? For the people that disown their child for being gay, for the people that scream and harrass people who practice Islam, for the people that breathe Trump Propaganda every day; what do you get out of it?

You raided the Capital of the United States of America for a man who stayed home and watched from the comfort and security of his home; you threatened to handcuff people and hang them in the middle of the National Mall because of what? You honestly think we want to turn you gay? You think we want your guns? You think we care what you eat?

I don’t give a rat’s ass who you decide to do the horizontal mambo with; just let the lesbian couple next door be who they are. I don’t care that you eat red meat every day, let the vegan eat their plants; they are not taking any food from your mouth. Literally. I do not care that your a republican, I just ask that you don’t throw it in my face every fifteen minutes like its a trophy.

When Trump won the election, the next day five men confronted me throughout the day and shouted in my face that I was a loser and three of them groped me while laughing in my face about getting away with it because the presidents said they could. The country didn’t dispute the results, we didn’t raid buildings and drive through crowds of innocent people We didn’t raid the US Capital. We didn’t beat up random people that crossed our path. Why can’t you accept the loss and move on?

I’m begging you, if you’re considering going back to the Capital to try another raid, or whatever is planned; don’t do it. Or else MAGA is going to have an entirely different meaning:

My Ass Got Arrested.
