The TV Reality Host vs The ex
Dear Donald, I married a version of you many years ago. Nearly 10 years, 2 children, a goldfish and far too many traumatic experiences later, I also fled from it. In a terrifying 2 hour window of time. In a crisis. $350 cash in my pocket. Into hiding, barely able to breathe.

We The People
Dear Donald, On the eve of the final day of your presidency, I ponder to myself what the last four years of your authority have represented. I sit back and think of all the images of angry white people waving confederate flags and screaming racial slurs. I remember the sting of anger as the verdicts passed "not guilty" on multiple officers over the deaths of innocent black civilians. I hear the cries of those who have lost loved ones to a virus that could have been contained. I still stand in disbelief as multiple "Americans" turn their backs on their country. I see the West Coast burning while Antarctica turns green. Billionaires become trillionaires, while homeless people die on the street.

Thank You Mr. Trump, You Did Great.
Dear Donald, I applaud you. No, I don’t intend for that to be taken sarcastically. I one-hundred percent mean it. While some may complain about your narcissism, your bluntness, your egotistical need for extreme validation. Im here to say Thank You and to validate you in a way that no one else probably will.

Dear Donald,
Dear Donald, Most people are never truly ready to confront their abuser, but at least this time I get to do so personally. You have single-handedly turned my friends, this country, and half the world upside down; but America will be great because of it. Please pay attention. Maybe find a friend to talk this over with. It is time you gainfully grasp why being called a Trump supporter is not a compliment.

Thank you, Mr. Trump!
Dear, Mr. Trump, These past few years, I'm sure, have been some of your best, at least in your opinion. However, for me, and millions like me, it has been a scary near half decade. At the start of your presidency, we heard stories and allegations about you and how you treated others, namely women. As a woman, this was obviously something that bothered me. However, I figured the country is made up of mostly women so surely, and because you want to make a good impression, we will be safe. As time went on, things got even worse. It wasn't just women that were being disrespected and made fun of because the president had done the same, but then immigrants became a target, resulting in multiple unnecessary deaths and dehumanizing separations. At the same time, the black community suffered far too many hits. I felt like we had been transported to the Civil Rights era of the 60's. We marched and protested, and instead of being heard, there were more killings of my people, and to top it off, you called Black Lives Matter Protesters, “thugs.” As a black woman who comes from immigrants and native indigenous peoples, your time in the white house has shown me the true definition of a dystopian society, growing and forming from the ground up, like a slow build of in an apocalyptic movie.

Thank you.
Hello Donald, It will stay in my memory forever the moment I found out you had won. It was Winter. I had finished an intense workout in a fitness first gym in Bournemouth and was feeling pretty confident the results would end in Hilary’s favour. So, when I picked up my phone and read that it was you who had won I was slightly taken aback.

The meaning of the term ...President of the United States - the person who holds the office of head of state of the United States government and is elected every four years by the people who live within its states. (This is my version of the definition.)
