In the last few years, we have been witness to how the pull of AR and Smart Clothing has been remodelling the fashion industry’s business model, especially in retail. The brands who have invested so far, have introduced blending real-time surroundings, smart clothing solutions and animated designs. A change that is giving their customers the opportunity to interact seamlessly with the brand, in a way that was not possible before. In late 2020 we've come across a lifestyle company called Avi8ted Thoughts based out of Washington D.C, recently discovered by the VIRTUE Clan Agency. Avi8ted have been successfully implementing the AR technology not only into their branding but also into the clothing line since 2019.

Using triangles every day
This is going to sound really bad, but the only thing I can put triangles in my daily life in is when I'm sewing or cutting a pattern. When making a pattern, I'd use basic triangles to form the pieces of a garment. Since we are looking at triangles, the example are dresses.

What’s your name and where are you from? My first name is Peter and my last name is Jean Marie. Yes my last name is french but I am of Haitian descent. I started of as a print model at the age of 16 but I later became a fashion designer at the age of 18. I was a talented teenager who was offered many gigs but rarely had transportation to make it out to these jobs. Not only were my parents separated but they were also full time employees and that made it quite difficult for me to go to certain places and do the things I wanted. Then one day I said to myself “since I can’t travel much & model for other brands I’ll just create my own and model for myself” and that is exactly what I did. I was born In Pompano Beach, Fl but raised in Naples, Fl. Both of my parents are from Haiti so that makes me Haitian-American.

My daily schedule consists of using social media on different digital devices. From my laptop at work to my smartphone on the way, and later on the tablet while going to sleep. Apart from me, my opticians feared the growing eye problems experienced due to prolonged hours of screen use.
