Nail Trends in 2025

This is how we will welcome 2025 year

By VeronikaPublished 12 months ago 3 min read

The new nail trends for 2025, are here and have many different designs, colors, shapes and lengths. From bright red to unpainted nail style, from ballerina nails to natural shorts. Winter will definitely be a disruptive season in women's manicure.

Glazed Donut

The biggest nail trend for the new season, started by Hailey Bieber and is glazed donut nails. It is a renewed form of mermaid nails and perhaps one of the most chic trends we will see this year.

3D drawings

The most subversive trend for this year. Three-dimensional drawings on your nails that will take you back to our childhood. This trend puts you in a position to support a more romantic extreme manicure. Of course, you can also choose glitter in three-dimensional form. This way your manicure will look, gorgeous without you having to do much.

Nails with natural shades

And since you started with something extreme, you will see something more natural and beautiful. This winter and spring, natural beauty will have a leading place. Colors that will practically not be seen, making your nails look completely natural. A beige in skin colors will make your nails look naturally unpainted, clean and well-groomed. It is definitely a trend that will suit women who work in jobs with a strict dress code.

Burgundy

Burgundy colors include shades of red. In essence it is the red of wine or cherry. It is a very chic and feminine color and can definitely be supported by every woman. The burgundy colors suit white or wheat skin, since they create a very beautiful contrast that cannot fail to enchant you.

Half moon nails

A special trend is emerging this summer. You leave the bottom of the nail base unpainted or treat it with some other color, forming a design that looks like half a moon. This is where this trend was inspired by its name.

Cut-out nails

2025 will be the year that convinces you to break away from classic nail designs. Instead of painting a heart or star on your fingernail, try a cut-out drawing. The cut-out nails have a futuristic, minimalist vibe that's perfect for making a very special statement, explains nail artist Julie Kandalec, who created stunning black mani with stars at Christian Cowan's SS2025 fashion show. The expert suggests buying ready-made cut-out nails that you will find on the market or making a hole in the finish of your nails (if they are long), before applying a 3D design. For the mani of the models at Christian Cowan's show, she used a nail clipper to create a small crescent at the tip of the nails before placing a 3D black nail sticker in the gap, using a transparent gel.

Abstract art

Abstract nail designs will be a big trend in 2025, according to nail artist Jin Soon Choi. This nail trend suggests using different colors, textures and techniques to create unique, playful manicures. It's perfect for those who want to express their creativity with bold, artistic designs. Without thinking much about the final result, use a brush, a special nail sponge or even your fingers to paint, splash and shape various nail designs on the color of your base. The result will be magical!

3D nails

Jelly nails were in the spotlight this spring, but 2025 will be a little different. Instead of nails that have a jelly finish all over their surface, in the new year we will see 3D decorative elements that stick to the nails and look like tiny gummies. This is a more minimal approach to the trend that we really like. In particular, designs like hearts and teddy bears will be trending in 2025 and will give you the most playful mani.
