Style ideas for your bathroom in 2025
Bathroom Trends 2025
The world of interior design is ever changing. Whilst trends don’t change dramatically every year, you can certainly see changes in design styles for bathrooms over several years.
That isn’t to say there’s a right or wrong style choice when it comes to bathroom design. Our bathroom showroom, for example, has a variety of style options which can suit individual bespoke preferences.
But as we look into 2025 and beyond, we pick out some bathroom trends which will follow us and remain across the next decade, if not for longer.
Eco friendly bathrooms
The environment is on everyone’s mind right now. Many bathroom manufacturers are looking to hit net zero with their sourcing, manufacturing and delivering. You as an individual may be looking at swapping our toiletries which do less harm to the planet.
In 2025, you can expect to see an increase in sustainable materials in bathrooms. This could include recycled glass and reclaimed wood. These materials are likely to be unique and really set your new bathroom apart from the rest.
Bathroom technology
We’ve already seen technology creeping into our bathroom appliances over the last few years. Bluetooth mirrors for example or WiFi controlled mood lighting. So what’s next for technology?
Mirrors could become even more advanced, telling you the weather, the news and even showing your diary appointments for the day.
Water recycling technology is also on the up. Why not use your shower water to flush the toilet and save money?
Advanced lighting
In keeping with technology, more people are turning to mood lighting as a way to relax whilst bathing. Forget pull chords. How about dimming your spotlights with your voice and changing the colour to boot.
Now take this one step further. What about using statement lighting to highlight a particular feature in the room?
Turn your bathroom into a spa-like sanctuary, not just a place to get ready in the morning and brush your teeth in the evening.
Brining the outside indoors
You’ve seen plants on the side of skyscrapers and eco-bridges, harnessing the power of nature to help animals cross roads safely.
2025 is likely to see many people harnessing the power of nature by bringing the outside indoors.
Thing plant walls, more potted plants and leaves draping into the bath.
This doesn’t just make your bathroom look great. It reduces stress, looks calming and increases oxygen levels.
Minimalistic designs
Minimal, sleek designs will remain throughout 2025. Think integrated storage and free standing units. Floating toilets and freestanding baths are already still in vogue.
The aim is to reduce clutter and again, make the bathroom a space to relax.
Bold bathroom ideas
No, we’re not saying bring carpet back into the bathroom or paint the walls bright pink. Although, if that’s your style, who are we to judge?
What we’re referring to here is geometrics and statement walls. Art Deco is said to be making a comeback and you can beat the crowds to this trend almost immediately.
Bathroom trend conclusions
So there you have it, some bathroom trends and ideas to really get your new bathroom design off to a flying start.
