
2020 was absolutely a hard year for a lot of us. Some lost parents, friends or boyfriend or girlfriend. However, all I learnt in this year, was how to be strong and keep my mind positive.
Taking care of your mental health is really important for avoiding any type of illness.
However, is really hard for some of us having positive thoughts. I know how some of you feel about it and everything start from the mind.
Some of us, used to spend a lot of nights awake and hoping to all of this pain one day is going to end. This is when your suicidal thoughts came out. Nevertheless, never stop believing in yourself.
I know some people around you, will may think that you’re too crazy or too exaggerated, but they definitely know how you feel inside.
Suffering of mental illness is the worst feeling ever. You lose interest in things that you enjoyed before, you lost interest of be surrounded of people that for you were important. The only thing that you want, is to stop having those thoughts, even though you know are too hard to control.
However, you can keep yourself still positive. I know what you think while you’re reading this article. “Yeah, of course. Everyone can say to stop having those thoughts and become to be positive. But it’s too hard.”
I know, and you’re right, but you become positive and happy again. I’ll show and help you how to be positive again.
Firstly, avoid all the people that are knocking you down. Be surrounded of people which love you, such as a close friend of a member of your family.
Secondly, do things that you are scared to do. Do you want to dye your hair, but you are scared because you might think people will not like you? It doesn’t matter. Do it, because it makes you feel happy. Stop being scared of what people think about you and start doing things that make you feel alive.
Thirdly, start doing exercise or sport and start eating healthy. It will help you a lot. You will get amazing results every single time you’ll stare into the mirror and you’ll finally be proud of yourself.
Last thing, be focused on your goals. Have you planned to get married with your boyfriend, but he broke up with you? It doesn’t matter. You didn’t lose anything. He lost an amazing person and you’ll find you other half when you’ll finally start loving yourself. Travel, study, take pictures of everything, and don’t neglect yourself for a stupid man. Love yourself and be proud of who you are.
Think positive because your mind matter!
