The things to watch out for on this Watch Out Wednesday will make you say "WOW" while you are reading this post. Here are a few tidbits that will keep your mind sharp today.

1. Starting today, you will need to start stocking up on food because things could start becoming scarce in the start of 2026. The key word is affordability. Grab some things right now that are affordable to you before they will not be affordable next year when suppliers begin to feel the full brunt of the tariffs.

2. Do all that you need to do before you go to sleep at night. Procrastination is no longer an option because the entire world is at a crisis point. The shutdown proved that thousands of people were negatively impacted by only missing one month of paychecks. Once you complete the day, then leave the past in the past because you will have a set of things that will need to be completed on the next day.

3. Do not become critical of others within your circle. Criticism occurs when someone does something that the other person is not doing and thinks that a correction should be made. However, we all do things different. What you have to do could be something that another person does not have to do presently.

4. Do what you need to do so that you will dwell in safety. Notify the obstacles within your surroundings. Then, come up with solutions in order to eliminate them.

5. Stay grounded so that you will be able to find others around you that are grounded as well. The way that you operate will decide who will stick around you. If you love to watch TV, then others that are TV lovers will then gravitate to you. If you do not want fools to be around you, then operate in a wise fashion.

6. Cry out for help. How can others help you when they do not know that you have a problem that needs solving? Ask for help instead of staying mired in the same situation.

7. Admit that you make mistakes. We all make mistakes. Those who are mediocre will continue to make the same mistakes. If you make an effort to not make the same mistakes again, then you will be able to minimize your mistakes in the future.

8. Hatred leads to violence.

9. Do not make the same mistakes that the previous generation made. Observe history so that history can become your example that can prevent you from doing wrong instead of running headlong into imperfection.

10. Start saving money. Please make sure that you have a stash set aside for the future.

11. Lift yourself up so that you can thrive in the future. Do not wait for someone to encourage you to go forward. Encourage yourself to go beyond your limits. Waiting for someone else to help you means that you will keep waiting.

12. Never compromise on protecting yourself. Protect yourself by staying strong so that others will not prey upon you.

13. Realize that we are all human beings. We are all the same.

14. Show empathy to others. A person that is cruel to another person lacks empathy. Stay away from those who lack empathy because they will eventually turn their cruelty towards you.

15. Think about what you are going to say before you actually say it. If you can take a second or two before blurting out something, then life will be smoother for you.

16. Do not allow for tradition to destroy your future. Out with the old, in with the new.

17. Make your vision your burden. Keep your mission statement at the forefront of your mind at all times.

18. Realize that understanding purifies your mind and your heart. Taking in information without gaining understanding of that information is a key problem in society. Everybody claim to know everything, but everyone do not understand the knowledge that they acquire.

19. Watch out for actress Tara Reid.
