Three Signs It's Time To Stop Running from Your Shadow And Face It Now
Do you let a part you have to haunt you?

1. You Feel Empty
Shadows are a disturbing subject that most people don’t want to hear. Most people want to get away from it.
Many spiritual teachers are supportive of shadow work. Others believe that if you look for dark things, you will only find more dark things.
Shadow work can be scary. You may have forgotten something that you didn't want to think about, but it has now become a shadow that follows you everywhere you go.
You are the shadow. Do you want to let a part you have haunt you?
Shadow is your unconscious and those parts of you that your ego doesn't want to deal with. These are the parts of you that are hidden from the light of your consciousness.
We are born complete and whole as children. However, that feeling is only temporary when our caregivers tell us certain things about ourselves that are unacceptable. You have every right to reject, ignore, deny or push back on any information that you hear about yourself.
However, this can cause you to feel empty because you have lost some parts of yourself.
Shadow work is about integration. Shadow work is about making the unconscious conscious and accepting the unacceptable parts of yourself. Integration of the unconscious is key to recovering those parts of yourself society has declared unacceptable.
The universe wants to make you whole again if you have been feeling empty or like something is missing. You must face your shadow self and stop running.
Shadow work can lead to inner healing and transformation. All you need is self-awareness.
It is important to hold your shadow close and shine light on it.
Shadow work is nothing more than making the unconscious conscious and any unacceptable parts of yourself acceptable so that you can feel whole again.
2. There are many regrets
The shadow is often overlooked and we think it doesn't have any power over us. It affects everything you do, even though it isn't visible. It's the reason why you do certain things in your life, even if you don't understand why.
Shadow is an inner fragmentation within you. It is almost as if two people are running your life.
It doesn't disappear if you ignore a part of yourself. It disappears from your conscious awareness. Instead, it lies in the darkness waiting for the right moments to reveal itself.
If you aren't paying attention, the shadow can take over your life and affect your reactions and actions.
A big shadow can overtake you.
As children, we have no control over this, but as adults we should be better equipped to manage life. Yet, we continue falling into the same unhealthy habits.
Shadows exist outside your conscious awareness in the form unconscious and limiting beliefs.
You may not realize how a huge shadow can affect your life. It can make you regretful and push you to take action.
Our shadows, our guilt, shame, anger, and other feelings, are often projected onto others. We often lash out at others for their negative behaviors.
You might find yourself regretting doing certain things all the time. This could be a sign that something else is working for you.
It gets worse.
When you act out of your shadow it becomes bigger and more. Then you project your problems onto others which can lead to unnecessary drama and pushing people away.
Pay attention to how your world views you. The universe is designed to make you feel whole again. If your shadow becomes too large, people will be able to see what lies beneath.
You must choose to see your shadow in order to become conscious of it. It's no longer a shadow because you have seen it and dealt with it.
Shadow work can be dangerous if you judge it after you have seen it. You are rejecting shadow work if you allow your inner critic to bring up the harsh truth and shame it.
Your shadow was created from rejection and non-acceptance. It was born when you rejected it. It is only a matter of fueling the flames by antagonizing it more.
Accept the shadows that you see. It deserves your love and compassion. Let go of those parts of you that are not in the light.
You must confront and conquer the negative aspects of yourself.
It is hard to face and defeat demons and vicious monsters in the darkness. Although it is scary, once it is over, you will be free.
You might regret doing things every time you do them.
3. Something calls out to you
It could be The shadow as you aren't able to see it so it's not there.
All that you don't like about yourself is what goes into your subconscious.
The subconscious shadow can affect more than just the dark aspects of us. You can also lose positive aspects of yourself, such as your sensitivity , which is a superpower or your empathy , which is a special ability. Society will tell you to get out of the shadow when you try to tap into them.
If you have repressed a gift or ability into the shadows, it will call to your attention because it is God-given power. That kind of power will not be held back by anything.
The natural state of any thing is not to be divided or separated. Humans are naturally drawn to integration and wholeness. The subconscious will constantly try to get your attention in order to help you integrate what isn't working. Triggers are the triggers that it uses to do this.
You can easily see your shadow self by identifying triggers.
Triggers can be described as messengers. They are an invitation to dig deeper into the unconscious to find something that's buried there. You can identify the messengers by the events that trigger extreme emotions in you.
Naming triggers helps you to recognize them and reduce their impact on your life. When you are triggered, it becomes a learning experience. Instead of reacting to the triggers, you can take the time to understand what it was that caused it.
Our shadow is also revealed when we see the same patterns in our daily lives.
Shadows want you to be aware of them. It is eager to be accepted and seen. Your shadow will try to grab your attention by pointing out the repeating patterns in your life.
These patterns will reveal aspects of your shadow self, which will continue to show up in various situations until you stop running and look in the eyes.
Shadow work doesn't have to be something you fear for your entire life. Shadow work is simply a way to become aware of your hidden parts and slowly embrace and heal them.
You may feel the same way as you did when you tried to suppress them or reject them. But once you get over it, you discover a new side of yourself that you didn't know existed. You can reconnect with your talents, gifts, passions, and abilities. Your soul's purpose may be revealed to you.
A fractured self will try to unite. It will want to make you feel whole again. You will have opportunities to see your dark side and shine light on it, or bring it out. There will be no fear.
Shadow work is the best form of light work.
