"Unseen Swords and the Ingenuous Soul"
His experiences were scattered everywhere. He was crestfallen. He was just 18 and psychologically, he was devastated. The boy had just been through an awful lot all his life, and nobody, not a single person, not even his own parents perceived the murk of emotional and psychological damage he was engulfed by. Days went by and he fell deeper and deeper into the pit of despair. He did not know who to turn to in order to get is emotional state in check. Unfortunately, the society he lived in did not think of anyone’s emotional health as considerable. They all functioned like robots and expected everyone around them to do so as well. But not everyone is like that. Human psychology is a very delicate thing, if you keep pushing it off its limits, the person with eventually shatter and do something ineffable that no one in their sane minds would. It’s a very consequential thing and they took it so lienently, that they did not even have a professional psychologist or a therapist in their whole God damned city.

The Girl in the Window
I saw the reflection of a girl in a rain-kissed window. The raindrops could have been her own tears, for her eyes were sullen and lost. She was a reflection of deeply hidden scars. Her soft cries were an echo, barely heard but closely felt. I stared at her, too afraid to turn around. Or so I thought at first. Maybe it was not fear, but captivation? I felt entranced by her sorrow. I even felt it pool within my heart and flow through my veins. Somehow, I knew that even if I could turn around, she would be gone. She was a ghost from a time long ago. She chose me in this moment that was frozen in time. I could no longer hear the ambience of traffic and chatter. I could no longer feel the chilling drops of the heavy rain. All I could do was stare into those haunted eyes.
