Eating disorders
Eating disorder is said to be more than what eating food is and being picky about it. This is more about a mental illness that interferes with the normal lifestyle that a person has and often requires the professional help. There also seems to be substantial disruptions in people's eating habits, as well as thoughts and feelings associated to them. An eating problem may also be indicated by obsessive thoughts about food, weight, or appearance.

White Noise
“Emerson! Get up” I am rudely awakened by the screeching voice of mother, I'm already dreading the rest of the day. I am greeted with a throbbing headache as soon as I open my eyes. The caravan is tinted a dark orange from the morning sun being filtered through the brown curtains. I have nothing planned for today; except for escaping this metal box for as long as I can. Perhaps I’ll check out the pool at the holiday centre; I still have three hours until it opens. The claustrophobic chaos is already making my skin crawl with discomfort. How did I get here?

OCD
OCD is one of most common type of chronic mental illness. It is a long-lasting illness that causes the person uncontrollable, recurring obsessions that are very hard to maintain. This causes them to repeat the behavior over and over again without fail. "Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a mental illness that causes repeated unwanted thoughts or sensations (obsessions)" (Fields, 2020).
