I was standing in a cabin, everything was worn and old like from the 1800's. The atmosphere was crisp. I looked down at my left and saw a shining pool of water. It looked glorious.
I looked up and saw a man standing in front of me with a suit and a tie. People say that the Devil wears a suit and a tie. The man I saw was holding a New Testament and asked me if I wanted to be saved. His tie was red, his suit was gray colored. And I said yes.
Something like a bus hit me and I found myself yelling for salvation, and saw the shadow of a ghost flash before my mind. I breathed in the water, and was back inside my body beside the pool. I had gasped it in. I looked at myself, at my left arm and it was shining. I was saying, "Glory, to God."
I almost woke up, but I heard a voice tell me look. And as I lay sleeping on my left shoulder, I looked outside the window behind me as if I were asleep on my right side. And when the voice said look, I saw a long neck, two hollow eyes, and the face of a BARN OWL. It was crawling down a wicked tree with no leaves and looked up. It had no eyeballs, but somehow it looked at me just the same.
After we stared at one another it crawled down the tree and I watched it run down the road. It had the body of a black bear, a long neck, and the head of a barn owl with no eyeballs. Then I woke up on my left side. I felt a sort of peaceful presence. It all went downhill from there.
I would just walk around aimlessly trying to figure out what it meant for weeks at a time. I would walk a few steps in one direction, think a thought, and turn around in the other direction, trying to make sense of it. Where did it come from? What did it mean?
Then I was sleeping again, I dozed of one afternoon. I hadn't been getting much sleep. There I was, in broad daylight, afternoon in the middle of my town by the rail road tracks in the gravel parking lot. A few flips and I shed my snake skin and ascended like a spiritual master. I went right back to my body, and looked out the window to my left as I laid sleeping on my back.
My brother was there, dripping venom from his teeth, with snake eyes. I saw my naked mom, get out of the bed as I turned the other way. The room was enlightened. I had reached Nirvana. Then I was paralyzed, trying to yell for help, but the only word I could say, was Hell. Like, "Hellll!" Then I woke up.
Was all this really in my mind? I tried praying but all I could see was flashing lights in my mind, like a strobe light. I didn't actually mean to reach Nirvana, it was kind of an accident. There is no going back.
Can you go higher than Nirvana? There I was 7 years later, conflicted, still unsure. So I had to do the most powerful trance in the history of the world, while trying to tell God that I'm not God. In my heart, and in my mind, I looked at everything before my face all at once. And I yelled.
For a while it was okay, but it never really was. And it may never be.
