Redefining Yourself In Light of External Forces, Internal Fears, and The Uphill Battle of People Pleasing
Lucky people are given many years to achieve their goals

Lucky people are given many years to achieve their goals. We often feel that we must stay the same, which is odd. It's often to comfort others and provide reassurance. Sometimes, we view meeting the expectations of others as a form love. Sometimes our growth can cause harm or disruption to others. Our callings change, and so do our principles, interests, and values. When we continue to be our old selves, it becomes a problem. You will experience discomfort in your daily movements when it is time to learn. Things you should stop believing and doing will be revealed to you. You will find yourself disconnected from your surroundings and be called upon to transcend your current reality.
Three areas to consider when defining yourself
1. Accepting your Call
Fear of failure is evidence that you are afraid of change. Why should I make a change to become healthier? What if I get sick? What happens if I don’t lose a pound? Why should I get out of an abusive friendship or relationship? What if I am the only one? Our brain is trying to create the worst possible scenario to "protect" us from the pain of disappointment or defeat. We must remember that every loss is an opportunity to learn. Sometimes we must take a loss in order to reach the other side. It is not easy to have something worth having. When it comes to changing your life, you must be brave and open to the possibility of making a change. When you feel more comfortable staying the same as you are with change, you will know that it's time to make a big shift. Pretty Bird, if this is something you're reading or thinking about often, it's time for change.
Get Ready
Writing down your vision of how you want your life to look in the short and long-term is a great way to rediscover yourself. It doesn't matter if you feel it is impossible to achieve, just write it down. Your passion scribe somewhere you can see every day. Every decision you make should be moving you closer towards your goal. It is best to do what you have to do in order to achieve your goals. There are no shortcuts or easy routes to excellence. After you have focused on your goals and desired outcomes, it is time to address your fears. You can create mantras to help you overcome fear of failure. If you are a person who needs constant motivation, you can put an upbeat mantra on your screen. These are all ways to put yourself in a winning place.
2. Make room for others to support you
Sharing my goals with a few supportive friends is a great way to commit to changing myself. I share my goals with my mom and a friend who is supportive. Because someone is aware of what you are trying to accomplish, this creates accountability. This makes it more difficult to lose sight of yourself. Sharing helps you to be motivated and gives you the opportunity to check in when it is most needed. It is strange that humans can be quick to let themselves down, but are afraid to let others down. What is the reason for this? You will discover that your worst disappointment is in yourself. You can overcome the self-negativity that is often a result of this reality by surround yourself with supportive voices.
It is important to keep our authenticity and to reinvent ourselves. However, it is also sacred to allow for growth in relationships. It is not uncommon to find friendships, or family relationships that hinder our growth. However, having a group of like-minded people can help us reach new heights. Make a list of your supporters and make space for them. You can rewrite your life or embrace the best version you, but don't forget the importance of having a community. We want to be able to share our journey with others who have been there to support it.
3. Redefinition: Owning the Process
To evolve into the person we desire to be, must allow us to exist in this realm. Start to include this person in your life. Be mindful of how you talk about yourself to others. You can be more mindful of what you think about yourself. Don't accept energy that is not in alignment with your goals. Only participate in the things that will grow you and make you happy with your life. You will eventually realize you are truly doing it. You are becoming the person that you promised to be. You will never stop once you feel that sense of gratification. It's not difficult to reach your goals, just take one step at a given time.
The Beauty of Evolution
Evolution is something I have learned. After I broke down the walls of fear, I realized that I could change every day. I am able to choose who I want to be every day. Versatility can be a powerful force. To achieve any goal, adaptability is a strength. Sometimes, our supportive and loving nature is the most important thing. Sometimes we need to be aggressive and persistent in our pursuits. It is possible to be socially and sexually sexy and then flip to the other side and get to work. The more we discover the fullness and depths of who and what we can be, we will stop settling for the limited version of ourselves that is imposed by external forces.
