Today, we're tackling a relatable topic, triggers, and the impact of narcissism in our lives.
It's something many of us encounter and it can really get under our skin.
So. what is narcissism? It's basically when someone has an inflated sense of their own importance.
These traits can make interactions feel one-sided, often leaving us questioning our self-worth.
I know how tough it can get. Imagine feeling targeted by harsh words or icy glares.
Those moments can be super-challenging and emotionally draining.
Now, let's talk about some signs of narcissistic behavior.
If someone is constantly belittling you or making everything about themselves,
they might fit this mold. It's all about creating a toxic environment that messes with your head.
But here's the kicker. You have the power to cope.
Walking away is often the best strategy.
Focus on your mental well-being instead of their negativity. You deserve peace.
Remember, it's okay to prioritize your happiness over their drama. Take care of yourself.

Triggers hit hard
Into my brain
Word triggers
Stare triggers
Insane triggers
Of narcissistic pigs
I just want to forever leave their gig
Mental health
Depression
Not wealth
Wish I had a dollar
For every time someone gave me a holler
To my ears to put me down
And make me cry as the sound
Of their voice makes me turn around
To look them in the eye
Tell them to not lie
Narcissists are everywhere
With their cold stare
With their beaty eyes
And crooked lips spewing lies
The narcissist rolls his eyes
As I walk into the room
Of their doom & gloom
The narcissist quirks their lips
Wiggle their head as they spew slurs out of their crooked lips
The novelty of how they crook their necks
Is an irritating sight to see as the beckon
For me to cry
For me to sigh
For me to scream at them
As they crook their necks again
Backwards & forwards as if they are insane
I want to now walk away
Never to get in their way
At work
At play
Or anywhere
They are today
Tomorrow or past
I now see their true colors at last
My dream is to walk away
Everyday
They begin to crook their neck backwards,
Forwards, & to the side ass backwards
As they curl their lips
Sideways
Scrunching their face muscles in a frown
Then prove they are a clown
As the neck,
the head, the lips curl
And swirl around
To point fingers at their victim
And stare with crinkles
Of wrinkles
As abusive words spew out of their brain
Of insane
Speeches
Like leeches
Eat away at my dignity
And equality
To be spunned into hell fire
As I step away
From their horrifying words
Of abuse
As I say
Not today.
To learn to walk away
I pray
Today
To always shut them up
Not beating them up
But disappearing from their evil eyes,
Pursed crooked lips
And crooked neck maneuvers of demonic crips
Walk away
Peace out!

"Walk Away Today"
(Verse 1)
Triggers hit, they invade my mind,
Word cuts deep, like it’s designed.
Cold stares, whispers, lies they spin,
I won’t let them pull me in.
(Pre-Chorus)
Narcissists lurking, everywhere they go,
Crooked lips curling, pain they throw.
I see through their disguise,
Breaking free from their ties.
(Chorus)
I walk away, today’s the day,
From their games, their insane sway.
No more abuse, no more cries,
Peace out, I rise, I say goodbye.
(Verse 2)
Beady eyes and their doom-filled rooms,
Words like leeches, draining gloom.
They beckon, they scream, they try to tear,
But I’ve learned now, I won’t despair.
(Pre-Chorus)
They curl their necks and frown their face,
Point their fingers, a toxic space.
But dignity’s mine, I stand my ground,
I reclaim my voice, I’m profound.
(Chorus)
I walk away, today’s the day,
From their games, their insane sway.
No more abuse, no more cries,
Peace out, I rise, I say goodbye.
(Bridge)
No beating them down, just fading away,
They won’t touch me with words they say.
Praying each step takes me far,
From their fire, I heal each scar.
(Chorus)
I walk away, today’s the day,
From their games, their insane sway.
No more abuse, no more cries,
Peace out, I rise, I say goodbye.
(Outro)
Walk away, peace out,
Freedom’s what this is all about.
I rise above, let my soul fly,
Today’s the day I say goodbye.

Narcissistic receives a round house kick and a powerful nudge towards rational self-interest here. I shared!
Wow great work Vicki! I have alot of narcissist people around me.. from your work I defined who narcissist people are: They belittle They eat your dignity They will make you question your worth. Thankyou. I will distance myself from such people, even my family members.
