Monthly Tarot Reading - August 2022
So much is going on!

I've been always attracted to 'mystical' things or tarot cards in general. In the hope to get the right messages, I find it fascinating to look at their graphical details and see something different each time I read them. Then I try to put the pieces all together until a story takes shape - a kind of story that resonates with you and your life circumstances.
Being quite an intuitive person, my feelings are very strong and, in general, I easily connect to people and places through the exchange of energy. Most of the time it happens instantly just like with the tarot cards.
When I do this kind of reading, I do it from a place of complete honesty and transparency. I have no reason to 'make up' stories and 'sell' you empty dreams, it's just not my style, not how I am as a person. If the energy around your chosen cards feels heavy, overwhelming, or sad I'll make sure to let you know - it's actually the case for one of the piles below; if the energy feels rather positive, uplifting or optimistic then I'll say that as well.
Now that things are clarified, let's go together through your tarot cards and see what messages you have for the coming month.
Before jumping right in, have a look at the above photo, and breathe in and out three times (I do the same before pulling out the cards for each group, plus it's a very good exercise for when you want to let go of the daily stress).
From left to right, choose the pile that 'calls' you and please don't think too much. You can also make your choice by looking at the little 'charms' placed on each pile - the ring, the earring or the hair clip.
- Pile 1 - Ring
- Pile 2 - Earring
- Pile 3 - Hair Clip
Good! We're ready to get started.
Short disclaimer!
Always take from these readings what best resonates with you and leave aside what doesn't. Keep in mind that this is a general reading for anyone who arrives on this page. If you're interested in a more personalized reading, don't hesitate to go to my ko-fi shop.
Pile 1 - Ring

Tarot card 1° Seven of Cups (in reverse)
Tarot card 2° Three of Pentacles (in reverse)
Tarot card 3° The Emperor (in reverse)
Usually, people freak out when they see all their cards in reverse — even I sometimes freak out — but that doesn’t mean it’s all bad.
Looking at the Seven of Cups, something tells me about your current state — I see some hesitation, you’re not sure what to decide or what to choose because you have a lot of options at hand. In the card, I immediately spotted the ‘snake’ and couldn’t take the word ‘temptation’ out of my mind. I have the feeling that you are restlessly looking for something more meaningful but you get too easily distracted by ‘instant’ rewards or gratification.
Even if the temptation is high, make sure to remind yourself to stay focused on the objectives you set up for yourself! Whether it’s about a relationship, a job that you desire, a hobby, or a change in your health & fitness routine, choosing anything else that you had in mind takes you further away from your goal and affects your confidence.
What is that you really want? Also, what you are trying to hide from? Ask yourself these questions to understand the root cause of your indecisiveness. You’re on spiritual growth right now and the best thing I can tell you is to give yourself time and patience to understand what is going on inside you.
The Three of Pentacles tells me something about the situation itself — you are annoyed because you don’t get or receive something you want. This happens because whatever is that you want — the love, the friendship, the collaboration, the appreciation from someone, etc. — doesn’t ‘want’ to come! At this moment, you’re simply not on the same page. Because of it, I see disappointment or impatience — it takes time for the fruit to be harvested, remember that.
On another note, if you find yourself in a confusing situation and don’t know what to choose — see the Seven of Cups — it’s OK because you might be re-directed towards something much better and then you’ll see that the whole waiting thing was worth it.
Oh, another aspect — please don’t take anything personal whatever you’re currently facing right now. I can already see you rolling your eyes at me because nobody — including me — likes to hear it, it’s just annoying, I know. If there’s something you want to take away from this reading is this: let it go and focus on yourself. Make a plan if you need to, narrow down your options and be more specific with your objectives based on what’s most important for you.
The Emperor stands for leadership. In your case, the card tells me that you sometimes need to follow the natural course of life as you can’t control everything especially when it comes to other people’s feelings, behaviours, decisions, ways of thinking, etc.
As sometimes you doubt yourself, this can make you too imposing in the eyes of others. Use your energy constructively, promise?

Conclusion
I pulled up an oracle card which complements beautifully this interpretation: “Thank you Angels for blessing me with infinite abundance” — I hope you find some warmth or calmness in this card because it tells you to leave the worries behind and let the Universe take care of them while you start making yourself a priority.
Pile 2 — The Earring

Tarot card 1° The Wheel (in reverse)
Tarot card 2° The King of Pentacles
Tarot card 3° The Chariot
When I was looking at the Wheel in reverse, I almost avoided saying out loud “bad luck”. Obviously, I don’t want you to have bad luck but, in your case, the card tells me that something is about to change — the course of action or even your destiny.
Maybe this perpetual change happens already and you’re trying hard to swim the turbulent waves of your life. You run miles an hour without a break, is ‘multitasking’ your middle name? I wouldn’t be surprised. And is everyone relying on you for everything? Please cut it loose and learn to sometimes say “NO! NOT TODAY”.
The cards show that a lot is going on and sometimes you can’t cope because everything happens at the same time. Is there a repetitive cycle that still happens in your life? Ask yourself how can you break free from it and please simplify things for the sake of your happiness and peace of mind.
The King of Pentacles looks very ‘cosy’ to me and it instantly makes me think that you need some serious time off. Looking at this card, I sense some sort of tranquillity that maybe you are in desperate need of. Find some quiet time for yourself, read that book that you always wanted to read, listen to some music, and journal if needed to release all the energy accumulated lately.
Another tip from me — surround yourself with things that remind you of childhood, allow yourself to ‘open’ some memories from the past with someone dear to you and daydream a bit, who knows, maybe your inspiration or creativity will come back.
The Chariot is the perfect card to wrap up this reading. After doing all the healing work, it’s time for you to take some action! Define what is that you want to achieve this month and have the confidence that you have all the tools to pursue your goals. Follow your unique path to self-discovery and don’t let yourself be distracted — take it as a test! And don’t forget that you don’t have to impress anyone but yourself.

Conclusion
I pulled up an oracle card which complements beautifully this interpretation: “Thank you Heaven for sending me reminders of your presence.” — this is a gentle reminder that you are not alone in this journey. Rest when you need to rest, you are safe. Each time when you see an angel number, a feather or anything else that symbolizes the presence of an angel, believe and let it go.
Pile 3 — The Hair Clip

Tarot card 1° Ten of Wands (in reverse)
Tarot card 2° Five of Cups
Tarot card 3° Six of Swords
The energy around these cards was just overwhelming. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I felt sick after this reading.
Because of all the negativity, I felt sad, then I had some minor headaches and after, all I wanted was to throw up for a few minutes.
I’m sorry but that’s how I felt! If you don’t resonate with the negativity of these tarot cards, I completely understand and be sure that I will not be mad at you if you stop reading right now.
The Ten of Wands in reverse shows clear signs of disappointment, a potential failure of some sort that you might encounter along your path. There is something ‘difficult’ going on which makes you want to pack your bags and leave. It can be a toxic relationship, a breakup, or the loss of a job or a person which makes you hopeless at the moment and want to ‘escape’ the situation you are in as immediately as possible.
You want to be on your own right now and it’s very hard for other people to get close to you because you simply don’t let them.
It can also be about something less traumatic and whatever actions you took so far, didn’t work out as planned. It’s time to change.
The Five of Cups screams ‘emotions’, ‘feelings’. This card tells me that you need to connect to your inner self and check again what are the values you stand for. Whatever you go through, it leaves you questioning everything. It’s OK to want to be alone and reflect on all the life lessons and believe that there’s still light at the end of the tunnel (if you look carefully at the card, you’ll see it).
Recollect yourself and all the broken pieces. Don’t give up and definitely don’t stop believing in yourself no matter what you go through.
The Six of Swords complements so well this interpretation as I see a lot of emotional turmoil. What is happening?! At this stage, I’m quite frustrated because I don’t understand where this sadness comes from. It’s clear that you need to be left alone for a while in order to understand what you feel before taking a decision.
There is something that needs to be left in the past and it’s so important to let it go. It’s part of life and you better accept it so that you can make space for something new even if it’s not obvious right now.
Don’t lose your faith and keep looking forward. It’s OK to seek out help; surround yourself with people you trust.

Conclusion
I pulled up an oracle card which complements beautifully this interpretation: “Thank you Angels for allowing me to see that every day is a learning day.” — this is a gentle reminder that every day is an opportunity, a gift to live the life you want. Ask yourself: “What is this teaching me?” There is a lesson in every challenge and you are strong enough to break through.
