The Unseen Disease
Diarrhea doesn’t exactly create a feeling of closeness; colonoscopies aren’t exactly conducive to intimate moments. Whether by the choice of others or your own, disease only makes you more isolated. Especially when that disease isn’t readily seen by others, when the vast majority of it takes place in the bathroom.

You Don't Have to "White-Knuckle" it...
I’m 14, sitting in a sweaty gymnasium touching knees with all the other awkward teenagers who paid the 2 bucks to get in here. This is the place to be on a Friday night if you’re in the “cool” group. I’m actually the exact opposite of cool, but I keep quiet and pray that no one discovers that I’m an imposter. I think I’ll be okay as long as I laugh when they laugh and do the things they do. So, this is me for tonight. Sitting here at the high school basketball game with my hoodie tied around my waist, chewing strawberry bubble gum, and continuously walking back and forth to the concession stand, but never buying anything.

On June 25th, Jenna Marbles uploaded a video shocking her millions of fans. Jenna, after apologizing for past videos that may have offended anyone, announced that she was indefinitely saying goodbye to YouTube. Though there were many reasons behind this break a big stand out reason for this was to focus on her mental health.

No Plain Jane
I entered the room and saw her just sitting in the middle of the floor on a mattress on an unmade bed. I took one more hesitant step into the room and she looked up at me. She had a faraway look on her face and her eyes rose to meet mine but she did not respond to me at first. I later found out that her name was Jane, like in plain Jane but she was anything but plain that I can tell you.
