Feeling down today?

Try a little gratitude.

Gratitude is an instant mood booster.

When we focus on what we are grateful for, we have to stop focusing on everything wrong in our lives.

When we do this, our entire perspective changes.

Recognizing how much we have to be grateful for allows us to see how full our lives actually are.

It’s easy to get in the habit of comparing our lives to others.

We can find ourselves focusing on everything we don’t have as opposed to what we do have.

You may start to feel like you you’re not as beautiful, fit, successful, or as financially well off as others.

This trap is especially easy to fall in when you spend way too much time on social media.

But when you see yourself falling into the trap, it’s important to immediately stop and redirect your thoughts.

Instead of comparing yourself to others, compare your current self to your old self.

How have you improved?

What strides have you made in the past year?

What areas have you made a great deal of progress in?

The answers to these questions will probably surprise you.

You’re doing much better than you realize, and you deserve to be celebrated for that.

Today is a wonderful and beautiful new day.

The sun is shining brightly with a cool gentle breeze. There’s so much to be grateful for.

As I sit and write, I am out in nature with the sun shining and smiling down on me

I’m a firm believer in the power of gratitude.

Gratitude has the power to transform your life. The more you are grateful, the more things the universe will provide you to be grateful for.

I have compiled a list of 10 things I am grateful for.

I encourage you to do the same on a daily basis.

It will transform your life.

As you focus on what’s right rather than what’s wrong, you will start to see that life is not so bad. In fact, you are very blessed!

1. I’m grateful for my comfortable bed and warm cozy sheets that provided me a good night’s sleep last night.

2. I’m grateful for the beautiful glistening warmth of the sun.

3. I’m grateful for the healing powers of the sun that is lifting my vibration and mood.

4. I’m grateful for the fresh air and cool wind breeze.

5. I’m grateful for my energy increasing and returning.

6. I’m grateful for my Medium family and all the amazing connections I have made on this platform.

7. I’m grateful for my kind and supportive followers that leave beautiful thoughtful and uplifting comments.

8. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be able to return the love and to uplift and support and show love to my followers.

9. I’m grateful for seeing my vision grow and evolve on this platform.

10. I’m grateful for the opportunity to hit new milestones on this platform.

11. I’m grateful for the air in my lungs and the breath in my body.

I just want to encourage everyone to reflect on love and gratitude today. Take some time to think on what is truly important in life, and what you are truly grateful for.

It is another day to be alive, laugh and be joyful, and enjoy the camaraderie of loved ones.

Think only on things that are positive, uplifting, and that make you feel good.

But most of all have fun.

And remember, the more love and gratitude you give out, the more you get back!
