June is Pride Month, and I want to extend my support, care, and empathy to the LGBTQIA folks.
The world right now is a hot mess and I know many LGBTQIA folks who are fearful because of laws constantly being talked about to make these folks feel “less than”.
I will never understand hating people because of who they love, or for wanting to be who they are especially when it does NOT affect others.
I am an ally.
I will continue to speak up and out. I will look for ways to support.
Pride is celebrated in June but we can and should lend our support all year long.
Let your support be known. You never know who may be looking for that support.
