When the rise comes down like a fall. The life of the many is all but unique. Screw it all most would say and just focus on you. For those where it doesn’t come easy, a rollercoaster of crazy and a struggle with yourself to consume your soul with darkness. Like characters from kingdom hearts, you lie in wait for someone to dive in to save you. For someone who is spiritually known for relying on yourself events of the past, that’s set on repeat. Constantly changing and forming your way of life until you are unable to take control of the wheel. As much as you yell and shout the darkness still has held.

Characters of your life breakthrough to reach out and bring you out. Their presence continues to uplift but at last, they are not mad at you. Stay true to yourself and know it like glue, so when the darkness comes back, they won’t stick but just slip away like old gum or worn-out shoes.

Understanding yourself isn't a rare condition. Some become arrogant by the amount of it and some have to build up to it. Nevertheless, the power of the truth becomes imminent when that power is unleashed. From all the words of the wise, you focus on making the motivations last for as long as you can make it your own.

Traveling across the land and sea to feel sense for the future. The possibilities give you the motivation that pushes you forward. The air was so fresh and the heat so refreshing. You started out with fear and overwhelming anxiety to find from the other side that you are actually afraid of everything around you. Afraid of yourself that you have sheltered all the truths so others won't see the real you behind the mirrors and the purity.

You reach out to find the truth in truth itself. The build-up to relationships that is new, platonic, or otherwise. the distortion of sounds and words scrabbled for you to make sense of it all. Communication through confusing texts only leaves things to chance and potential heartbreak. The effort you put in finding a new adventure for the sake of time spent. Wishing to get some time back you continue the pursuit to find something genuine just to conclude that the reality is what has been presented. Resulting in choices that must be made to move on. A choice that shouldn’t be discussed in the pursuit of the new is the choice of self.

Now a show of hands, how many people have habits that have been hard to break and continue to struggle with them? Yeah, I’m sure there are quite a few hands up. I know mine was. Habits are really hard to break. I know I’ve mentioned habits quite a few times but there are methods to breaking the habit. Like the Linken Park song literally called “Breaking the Habit” there are things in our life that become part of who we are and changing those sides of us becomes harder than obtaining them. Try as we may, we create reinforcement to manage and train ourselves to break out of these habits that we build for ourselves.

Now, this piece isn’t going to be about understanding our habits and how to break them because you can go to Breaking Habits in order to find out. This piece not only discusses the effect of habits but why humans make staying in the same place so comforting. I enjoy the comfort that suits me as much as anyone else. When it comes to negative comfort or maybe some negative influences that repeat over time, we can fall into a slope where what becomes in our control is transition into out of control.

The madness of life makes us feel things in ways that entice us to confide in comfort. Even when we can see if it’s good for us or not. The conformity inhabits are an excuse to keep the bad ones around. Reasons to have them stay so we can find some relief. Knowing how to build a better life for yourself is never easy nor does it come with a Manuel or involve yourself with good habits and positivity all the time. Simply put, the things that haunt us is be derived from the things that not only hold us back but force us to take shelter in the “easy”. STOP THAT! Make it known and make it clear, the things that haunt us is not the thing that makes us who we are. Period!
