 the Sonic Team is a company that franchises Sonic the Hedgehog and all its products. With so many different avenues for a decks and translation, I was able to make a showcasing of the teams of the franchise. 

These sets of cards will be similar to cards like “Harpie lady Sisters” and “Hip Hippo Carnival” each showing 3 characters in one card. The inspiration for the deck came from the game that proceeded the Sonic adventure games. 

Sonic Heroes has been a big driving factor for this decks creation. Most of the monsters has the effect to Special Summon themselves from the hand or graveyard. and all of the monsters are sets of 3

 I have no current affliction with the Sonic Team or any properties of the franchise. The various card art has been from various forms of media and creators. All rights reserved to them. The texts and stats have been curated by me.

We start off with the main team that started it all game wise. 

 consists of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. Each having their own specialties. With this and the rest of the monsters, I wanted to implement effects that can be implemented around the number 3. It’s like this monster where you can attack 3 times with the card. 

Since the main monsters singularly have a base stat of 2500, I wanted to adjust the stats around it to reference how much these characters work with each other rather than rely on themselves. 

Just like Shadow the Hedgehog has the base stat with the 50pt over, 

 has the same stat increase with their team from the Sonic heroes version of team dark. 

These characters met and teamed up during the Sonic heroes game and have formed here once again to have shadow as the leader. This cards effect allows you to inflict burn damage to your opponent for each of their comrades in play. 

 is a monster also based off of Sonic Heroes and they’re known as the team to consider when going through the game in “easy mode”. With Big the Cat, Cream & Cheese, and Amy Rose as their leader, team rose focuses on staying around and avoiding conflict. 

Their card effect allows you to protect them from destruction 3 times. Their stats are averaged out and the card share the beast type for most of the characters in this team are beast related rather than the beast-warrior. 

Now this group of characters were introduced in Sonic Heroes as the tactical group. The ones that operate on solving missions and being the detectives compared to the others. 

 consists of Vector, Charmy, and their leader Espio who’s a ninja with abilities similar to a chameleon. 

While they may not be hedgehogs they certainly focus on information and having fun along the way, similar to Sonic’s personality. Even though they can Special Summon themselves from the hand or graveyard, they have the formed ability to force all players to summon 3 times each of their turns. Though when you summon this card, you still have 3 after to make summons. 

While all the teams have their origins and characters fusions, nothing beat this trio that is our main team of this deck. 

 consists of Shadow, Silver, and Sonic. All of these characters are hedgehogs with their own individual abilities respectively.

Their effects reflects on how the deck is to be run. By summoning each other during your turn, you provide yourself strength in numbers against the opponent, using means like banishing your cards to get through tough moments. Furthermore, this card provides a return by being able to come back from banishment. 

 is a powerhouse of a team. They not only have the summoning requirements and effects as all the super and hyper monsters you may have seen on previous and future Sonic posts, but their effects really goes hard when they banish cards from all over just to make sure they nail the enemy to defeat. 

Garnishing our only spell card for this series is 

. Referencing from the previous post which contains the original Sonic underground and the characters that reside in it, This spell card has the power to recover our Team and Hedgehog monsters so we can use them again. Though you can restricted your opponent from activating cards, they can draw 3 cards. 

From one set of teams to another we have the 

 These characters come from Sonic riders. A team of backyard misfits who conquer their part of the universe by using their wave boards. Each having the expertise in riding with their individual space. You can check them out in the Sonic generations post. 

The trap card allows you to summon any team or sonic monster while allowing 1 to attack directly. Though this bunch can be very self righteous, they excel at being a team which when they’re destroyed, still provides support with drawing cards. 

 brings back 7 banished cards as a way of accessing the chaos energies to bring forth our team super. This card also can protect the new monster from leaving its state by banishing this card from the grave.

This deck has a lot more potential for extra support cards and with the comic and games gaining more traction and new releases, theirs possibilities for more later on. These cards can definitely be put into a deck so these cards can be the main hub with some extra staples. There’s definitely more to come from here so stay tune to see what’s next.
