I just wanted to tell you... share with you

something I'm so thankful

so grateful someone told me

ladies and gentlemen

It's not that it could or it might,

but your art WILL save your life

In whatever form, in whatever life

art takes on, it's shared with you

in the action, it's creation,

to overthrow hesitation

whether rolling pen upon the page,

I'm therapeutically involved

watch, my life, how I'm taking charge

as I unpack repression

ceasing clashing with self-expression

seeming constant incessant judgments

used to having live on shoulders

shadows in thought, painting boulders,

I get over

even if slowly, with emboldened vocabulary

every day, maybe, sit at my table,

with topics in past contemplated

and written in notebook for later, for

this moment

with tulsi and H3 (music)

I don't give a rabbit's foot for type of art

you indulge

the point of this presentation, is

somewhat selfish, see: I'm getting off

unkinking hose and letting loose,

if you've got any criticisms

I ain't listening, I've black chocolate,

open heart through art and on a mission

thought admission: I'll be the first to

claim this verse ain't bursting

murdering lames, spurting blood, so what?

every so often, you've got to chill,

you've got no option

slow momentum, still marching, keep moving

though I'll bet my purse and state, whether

weaving in words or paint

bodily motions, or martial artistry

running tea ceremony, or parlour, G

these acts of love through art will

bring you to inner dimensions

people are going to shirk your effort

spit upon your blessings

that's just how it is, until their crown

they get anointed with utilizing pen or

otherwise, embracing creation

it's natural... it's natural... it's natural

if you allow the juice to flow, uninhibited

control a river with clenching fist

envisioning the mad success that meets

and greets the art, that's claim to fame is

flawlessness

but who's the judge?

who gave them that authority?

let me paraphrase a quote of gold

from Andy Warhol

“Making art, think about it not

just get it done

whether it's good or bad

be others' opinions

whether the love or hate it

this piece of magic you've created

as they're coming to conclusion

already on to more art you're making
