You will regret the words unsaid,

The love left waiting, cold and dead.

The moments passed, the time you lost,

Not knowing yet the heavy cost.

You will regret the doors you closed,

The chances missed, the paths not chose.

The silent days, the bitter nights,

Where shadows claimed your once-bright light.

You’ll regret the walls you built so high,

The chances gone, no reasons why.

And when the silence calls you near,

Too late to turn, too late to mend—

Regret will find you in the end.
