Success is a beam of warm, bright light in front of me.
My arms wrap around my body and hold everything I've accomplished in one great hug.
The words, "I can do this" sit with bold flavor on my tongue.
Sweet tangs of sweat come from my skin and I remember the work I've already put forth.
I keep going as I listen to the voices that cheer me on, including my own.

I definitely relate to a lot of this here, doubt creeps in easily, I like the way you deter it and embrace success and the idea of how you can achieve success... just continuing to work as you always have been. And to talk about success as this warm comforting thing makes it seem like less of a daunting thing to try to obtain, but rather something that is comforting. Well done with this one!

This is a great poem! Nice work
I've finished big projects before, with the only goal being that I can prove myself as worthy. So, even though the path is filled with ups and downs and days that I'm less motivated to work, at least I have physical reminders of what I've accomplished, and what I've achieved to help propel me forward. It's like, achievements are a nice cushy bed that I get to rest in. The more works I complete, the more comfortable and blessed is my bed. I get to rest easy at night.
