You Revolt Me
Narcissistic People who needs them

You Revolt Me
When I think back to the ways you tore me down,
Wielding words like weapons, making me drown,
Your charm was a mask, your kindness a game,
A master of lies, yet so quick to blame.
You reveled in power, in breaking my will,
Feeding on control, leaving me still,
A narcissist’s web, I was caught in the strands,
But now I’ve escaped your cold, grasping hands.
I see your face, it fills me with disgust,
A bitter reminder of broken trust,
But no longer can you darken my skies,
My soul’s untethered, my spirit now flies.
Without you, my world blooms with light,
The air is clearer, the stars shine bright,
My life is better, my heart is free,
For I’ve reclaimed the best of me.

Good work and what a good way of dealing with this kind of person.
Beautiful poem. Nicely Done!!
Exactly. Never allow your light to be eclipsed. A narcissist is grief and abandonment waiting to happen.
That image suits perfectly with your poem💖 Excellent write!
Very free-ing.
