This universe be canvas
Your footsteps and choices the paint
You will be heard.
Oh, it's essential-
You.
This piece.
You studied...
The way you work for it,
Make this world and its characters your tools.
Oh, your use of techniques!
Underpainting to establish the bass note of values and understand shadows;
Blocking in because you understand everyone has a role in this choir of life and art and they fit in their own way;
Dry brushing those who want to be present, but not heard. Help them, but won't hide them completely.
But, my, your pain in applying Sgraffito. When you are forced to silence a part to ensure the bass note not be forgotten;
And glazing, as director, you make yourself the coat of transparent protection- the sound proof sealant of mediums is to complete this masterpiece.
These strokes become one voice.
Your art speaks volumes
...
Not all sounds are music to our ears.
Does this visual tune stand a chance?
They step into the exhibit in uniform armed with ear plugs.
Noise cancelation.
In a fit of desire to be heard, you throw yourself across the closely woven cloth
A live work presented. Active creation
Naked before them
You painted in sound.
Again.
You march life and light and love into the emptiness that is white.
Stroke after stroke you speak then sing then scream and shrill your vocal cords raw.
You take to wood-wind with your use of texture and make melodies of pain and stories. Harmonies with the shapes of laughs.
With lungs deflated, your hands beat the drum of perspective
You keep tempo like tapping technique.
As art does, this painting lives on.. still tapping our cadence long past the time the airy sounds of your breath have ceased.
What a sight to see.
An experience this painting
I hope this portrait saves us.
...When it is heard
