Bass ostinato. In this song, it's a melodic bass ostinato. We hear the bass and percussion predominantly in the beginning with a repeating melody and rhythm, and then the rest of the layers join in.

Holy, You are.

You're the bass ostinato of me, always working in the background and setting the tone of my life. . You're the percussion of me, tapping out Your perfect rhythm for my heart to follow. Then You add layers to my mind, each one different but together they play a harmonious melody of thoughts and emotions. An expert conductor, You guide me through the complicated arias and tempo and key changes for a seamless transition.

You create the music of my soul. You make me want to dance, but fall to my knees, all at the same time. You make me want to sing, but pray, all at the same time. It's who You are. You want me to experience the vivid colors and sounds that move me, because You created them.

I drink cold coffee in a wine glass, I tell the sun " good morning", I tell the moon my secrets and I tell the stars they're beautiful before they hear my secrets, my hopes and dreams and I give a shout out to the ones who are twinkling brightest. Can't help it...When I look at Creation, I just want to shout from the rooftops to everyone to get out there and see it for themselves and get excited.

So if you see someone driving with this song belting full- volume with the 🌬️windows down, with her hair flying around outside the truck window like a waving banner of "woo hoo!", it's OK. It's just me.

Life is short. Don't get fixated on how short it is and forget to live. If I've learned anything in the past few years, it's that life is short. Reach for your hopes and pursue your dreams, even if they seem hopeless, because anything is possible with God.

He says I'm a symphony, but He is my song.

Amen.

β€œNow when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.” II Chronicles‬ ‭20‬:‭22‬ ‭NKJV
