Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow, and Forever

Yesterday, we would meet,

with a smile you would greet.

You would wave and say hello.

My heart would melt, my legs jello.

You'd come near, just to speak.

The perfect words my mind would seek.

You are happy to call me friend,

This I will be, until the very end.

Today, you would call, just to talk.

I'd invite you by, to go for a walk.

You're by my side, and I'm in bliss.

I hand you over a compiled list.

You begin to read the things I feel,

You look up a I begin to kneel.

I see your expression, that I would guess.

You do to your knees and tell me yes.

Now You're my love, and still my friend,

Tomorrow, we'll see what love will bring. Our life song we will sing.

Bringing happiness, care and joy,
