Yesterday A Flowing River In My Yard
Then today there is snow!
There was a flowing river in my yard today.
What can I say
it started just the other day.
The weather was warm, but not last week.
I was so sick of the weatherman, the geek.
It was around 60 and even warmer
in places according to the farmer
down the block.
As he looked at his clock
he spouted how his daughter said they were in the seventies.
Then in White Bear, it was just in the eighties.
70s are warm enough for me.
I don’t like any more heat than that you see.
Minnesota is the right state for me to be in.
I washed my car the other day. Time to begin
to start that process now that it is warm
and not sloppy, except for our yard which won’t harm
anything. Time to be getting some laundry done.
Enough for now! Thank God spring is here Hon.
Oh look, snow!
Time to put away the hoe!

Sounds a bit like New Jersey, where I am. Except the weather changes all throughout the day instead of just the week. We can start the day in a rain jacket, then need a coat, and by midday day people are in shorts and flip flops, only to have to put a coat back on by evening.
You are so great at making poem. I love it. 🥰I got to visit your state someday
