Yes, Today Has Been Bad
Tomorrow Might Be A Better Day
All the colours in my mind meld into each other,
Every figure, building, and street became a foggy blur,
Mixed into high-burning flames,
A fire that burned higher with a constant
flicker, the dance of stress,
The orange flames crackled like
loud bombs echoing in my head,
Where peace was disturbed,
And silence was broken;
Yes, today has been bad,
However as the noise fades,
A moment of positivity shimmers
through the fire,
Shades of grey mixed in with colour,
Bringing a peaceful smile,
As I sit warming myself in
the brilliant orange dance,
Making me smile in the chaos-cramped
corners of quiet space in my brain,
Letting me know that,
Tomorrow might be a better day.
