Yellow Scarf

And Silence

Yellow Scarf

A yellow scarf carelessly blows in the breeze

A banner of summer, and the buzzing of bees

As twirling sunlight dances freely through the trees

Rippling rhythmic, vapored waves beat

Making inevitable, what happens next

It rolls down like water, waves pooling, finding rest

The hint of life stirring, somewhere deep in my chest

Undeniable beauty resting silently on my lips

Wonderful! I really like how the scarf can be literal or a metaphor for the sun rays, and I can see both twirling through the trees and dancing on the breeze. Well done!
