You Can't Say That

I'm always amazed at what my daughters say, has been said to them...here are a few, rearranged a little for the rhyme. Come on, "you can't say that"

*

What's wrong with you

why did you wear that

You breath smells like poo

you should take a bath

Do you sniff glue

what's with that hat

Why's your hair blue

are you getting fat

Another tattoo

what's up with that?!

To tell you the truth

I could give a rat's ass

If you want me to move

don't bother, don't ask

You and your kind

(as they are shaking their heads)

will be the end of us all

I'd like to press rewind

and go back, before the fall

Before it was distorted

you've made this world a mess

and ruined us all, (he snorted)

look what you've done to our US

our future's gone to heck

Good and bad memories of these phrases I have and heard most of them. Good job.

  • I can hear my mother saying it --- 'you can't say that' --- thankyou for sharing xx

I like how this seems to go from little girls to growing girls to adults dealing with today's world. A little humour and a little reality check. Well done!
