Can you see this pen and pad sitting next to me?
The ink rests in me as my pathway to ecstasy.
I’m obsessed with the written word as soon as I pen the word.
My mind jogs with stories and then my vision blurs.
A pen of fresh ink is like a lighter to a writer.
No frownin’ I’m only clownin’ when I pull an all nighter.
It’s like a hit of the best drug you’ll ever take.
The feeling lasts long and strong and never breaks.
Never shakes or ever flakes, but will forever take its time.
Coasting your thought process as it takes your mind.
Oh what a feeling is this written glow of a feeling.
Published, read and liked. Emotional dealings.
I wish all of my written works could write back.
Whether fiction or fact, my writings make the readers climax.
It doesn’t matter if they’re laughing, crying or even cheering at em’.
I give my readers a written-gasm.

This is lovely - so often we write about writing as if it is torture and so difficult, but this is an important reminder of how it is also fun.
