Wrinkles In Time

Light Touching The Surface

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished 7 months ago Updated 7 months ago 1 min read

Caught in the creases

the ruffle, the wrinkles

The leaves on the trees

as the sunlight's warmth sprinkles

Exists a moment untouched

gliding across the surface

Lovingly clutched

between what will be and occurrence

A thin, brief encounter

intercepted by will

Time blooming like a flower

waiting perfectly still

To explore acquaintance

that spark of connection

Secrets under surveillance

expanding perceptions

That life is there waiting

just below the surface

Experiences created

covering all time and spaces

And if we’re willing to

remain open to receive it

The universe whispers to you

the secret reasons why we exist
