My World Stops.

Frozen in time as I stand in torment

Shocked faces and unclothed bodies

The love of my life, my best friend- engaged in a sickening act.

My feet run.

Down, down, down the treacherous stairs

Until I am far from them

The falling rain should have cleansed me, but I am tainted by the repulsive image

Their hearts stop.

Exacting my revenge through taken lives

Justice for their sins

My soul is calm at last

Their blood runs.

Soaking into the carpet

Leaving an unwashable stain

The damage has been done, and sirens start to ring- I am at peace

heartbreak
