Wrap Me Up in One Big Tissue
A Sexy Snot Poem

Drip down slow
An undesirable ooze
An irritation of skin, the burn, the acidity
Everything is heavier on the inside
Cotton-filled, foggy, weighing down sensations
Zombie-sounding, grunts and groans
Muscles ache from merely breathing
A wheeze, a sneeze, and toss and turn
Rest is sadistic, as it resists all the way till
Pass out from exhaustion
As snot trails its way down tightened sinus tracks
A raspy cough resonates outwards into a stuffy room
That's much too cold and much too hot
While it all feels like too much until...
A nostril opens up- I can breathe!

Captured sick with a cold so poetically!!!
It feels like we made it to heaven when a nostril finally opens up, lol. Hope you get well soon. Sending you lots of love and hugs ❤️
Allergies or sickness. It always sucks when you can barely breath. DX
Love this! Someone finally captured my essence 24-7! (Asthma, allergies, restricted breathing, constant running/bleeding nose & cough by which my wife & son could say they could always find me in a crowded store.)
Oh damn, being sick sucks but this poem is great!
I hate it when that happens. I have to breathe!!
