Would You Dance?

Would you dance if I asked you to dance,

Step into the rhythm of a fleeting chance?

Would you spin in the glow of a moonlit trance,

Or would you turn away, break the romance?

Would you hold me close in the quiet night,

Let the music carry us, pure and light?

Or would you run, vanish from sight,

Leave me here with the fading light?

Would you stay if I reached for your hand,

Or slip away like footprints in the sand?

Would you linger where our dreams expand,

Or drift apart, like a far-off land?

For in your eyes, I see a spark,

A flame that flickers in the dark.

But in your silence, there's a mark,

A shadow where the fears embark.

Would you dance if I asked you to dance,

Or would you flee, forsaking the chance?

Tell me now, before the night’s advance

Would you dance, or leave without a glance?
