World Mental Health Day

Take Action

By Rachael StoreyPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

The terrified, nervous friend,

Knowing today is another dead end,

Nothing to text, as never a reply,

Don’t say you’re there, it’s another lie,

The laughing and stares in the street,

There are never one, always a fleet,

They’re Facebook posts, don’t mean a lot,

They don’t care, only about the likes they got.

Battling with your mind is hard,

No more excuses, she’s used her last card.

She’s feels like an idiot needing help to confess,

Especially with her support getting less and less,

Get your arses in gear, you’ve heard enough stories of no support,

Don’t wait for another news report.
