Words

Risky Business

By Jessica VarvilPublished 6 months ago 1 min read

How comforting it is,

To breathe out words of bliss.

As warm as a summer’s day,

As sweet as a Summer’s kiss.

Words are just words,

Until you take a risk.

Words cut like knives,

They can be brisk.

Words are just words,

Until they are missed.

By opportunity or longing,

Words are just words.

Until they are belonging.

For Fun
