Words can't describe how I feel

Current emotions

By KodahPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

I'm at a loss for words, I can't tell you how either.

Why can't I fill the gap where I understand my current emotion?

I'm just an overflow of emotions, I can't comprehend what I'm feeling.

No wonder I do not please people,

I can't even allow words to describe how I feel.

~~~~~~
I just wrote this poem now and wanted to say I'm sorry I haven't been liking your stories recently, my mental health is in turmoil at the moment I'm very sorry I've been very delayed, I'm considering a break for myself very soon❤️
    Hi Kodah, I hope you are feeling better. Never apologize for giving yourself space and rest. Everyone takes the time that they need to unwind. Don't overthink anything, just take life with a light hearted view...there is always light shining through. Be well.
    It's important for everyone (yes, you too,) to take care of themselves first and foremost! Apologies aren't necessary as everybody goes through the rough, yucky parts of life and sometimes we wanna press and hold that fast-forward button. Know that your value lies in who you are no matter what you do or don't do. Blee dat!
    Beautiful poem. But don't be afraid to take time for yourself! It's a marathon, not a sprint :) Taking care of yourself always comes first! ♥♥
    Hey Kodah, I am really sorry you are having a rough time of it. I was thinking the other day that you hadn't published anything recently and I miss reading your work. Please go easy on yourself and take whatever time you need. Have you got people around you who you can talk to or just give you space/ hug/ food? If you feel like talking or you need anything, please hit me up [email protected]
    Courage, Kodah! Being human is complex and challenging at the best of times. Making poetry of suffering shows that you are adept at it.
    Take whatever time to need to find yourself and restore balance. Vocal will be here. If you haven't tried art, I highly recommend you give it a try. It doesn't have to be perfect. The attempt is what counts. So the pressure's off, and no words need be exchanged. Any medium. Any amount of time. Just you and whatever you make with your hands. For me, listening to music while I paint brings me even closer to the art, but that might just be me. Thanks for sharing your poem. I enjoyed its surreal nature.
