speaking light
into existence
twelve
" wandering stars"
each one different
only one
teeming
with life
not a single cell
or bacteria
anywhere
but on earth
a bazillion stars
and each
has a name
love letters
left
for us
to find
He writes poems
in the sky
marine fossils
on mountaintops
and Books
written by
witnesses to
and of
eyewitnesses
dear Darwin
pray tell us
what the platypus
evolved from.
