Wondering Around

“ To Those who tell you that you cannot, prove them wrong and show them you can” - Elizabeth Blade

I was wondering around

In the rain

Trying to wash away

The pain.

To Think of times that have come

To past, thinking of how

My love will last

As I watch the droplets of the

Rain fall down

I try and search for you

But you’re not around

I cry to the skies but my cries don’t make a sound.

I remember your loving embrace,

It would flow all around.

Who will I become?

I will not know,

I need your love,

I need you to show.

I have no idea where to go.

The water flows,

So does my tears

I have walked around

Lost for so many years.

The years, how they rolled

On by.. The skies above me

Tend to cloud over.

The rain of pain that forever

Falls down upon me.

My knees are weak,

Future is bleak.

Answers I forever seek,

The wonders of the world

And everything that is within it.

I don’t feel like I belong.

I sing, alone this lonesome song.

I wonder around and cry these tears of

A clown.

Tears I cry when no one is around.

My thoughts remain in my mind,

Safe and sound.

The tears forever fall

Within the walls and depths of my soul.

This ground is sour, my mind starts to devour.

I will reach my saviour in my darkest hour.

I will find my setting sun, where I’m free to run.

I will be the destined one.
