Heart filler

I met a man who swore to me he was the best. In his arms is where I rest as I lay upon his chest.

No abuse in sight, he’s not a woman beater, but I can’t help but wonder if he’s a woman eater.

He told me he used to womanize, but now he no longer seeks to be the apple of every woman’s eyes.

I wanna believe that he’s different and now he’s changed, but every night I hear something strange.

As I lay on his chest something stirs a lot of doubt to me and it’s the voices calling out to me.

I ask what’s eating you to the voices and their response is grim. They tell me what’s eating them is him.

The voices are women inside this man’s heart. He fell in love with them all and didn’t wanna be apart.

He met so many of them and fell so hard for them all and couldn’t bare the thought of losing any of them.

He didn’t wanna ever be apart from their souls, so he captured them with his heart after he swallowed them whole.

At this discovery I’m very perplexed because I’ve fallen for him too and now it looks like I’m next.
