I’ve been through a lot of trouble, but woe ain’t me.
Woe looks in the mirror and says Joe ain’t me.
I can’t deny it. It’s no secret that I’ve been through a lot.
Amidst the turmoil I managed to win through a lot.
I’m not ashamed to admit I lived with the trauma.
Strength to get through the drama was a gift from my mama.
None of the ills I went through happened in vain.
I learned from every cut and bruise. I’m detached from the pain.
I’m the untouchable resource a foe can’t see.
I’m also not a sad story because woe ain’t me.
