Dear Yesterday,

Thank you so much for the lessons learned and bridges burned.

But now it’s tomorrow’s turn.

The pain of the past was a lot. It’s true.

Nevertheless I’m thankful because I learned a lot from you.

I used to tell myself away with you.

I’d be lying if said I didn’t wanna spend another day with you.

You prepared me for tomorrow whenever I’d rest.

If I paid enough attention then the day was the best.

I treasure our time together. I revere you.

I gained the wisdom I have today because I was near you.

As I walk into the future your lessons will last.

I’ll only focus on the good, not the bad of the past.

We’ll still have our Astoria memories to bring in the better days.

I’ll cherish them as I say so long to yesterday.
