Many years have gone by,

And we have faced many hardships,

It felt like I was sinking to the bottom

of the ocean,

Drowning in the trauma,

Then you arrive;

Putting the sparkle back

into my life,

Holding me in loving arms,

Encouraging me to stand tall,

Every time I fall,

I never knew love,

Until you came,

And showed me a life I

thought I'd never see,

Lifting me through the storm,

Until that ship rose again,

So, here I am with a message I

never thought I'd say;

With tears in my eyes,

And a fire deep in my heart,
