"How many return from the relentless toll? Widows, orphans, young and old, all in despair,"

By KerenzaPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

How will the world be tomorrow?

Diseases, blood-soaked wars still flow.

Climate change and disasters strike,

Food crisis, suffering, people's plight.

Oh, war, a half-conscious, half-crazy soul.

How many return from the relentless toll?

Widows, orphans, young and old, all in despair,

Lost, confused, caught in life's snare.

For years, disasters keep spreading wide,

Disease, war, loss, the world can't hide.

All beings surrender to the earth and sky,

Where does humanity's future lie?

Let us pray for the world of the morrow,

May grace bring mercy, a brighter arrow.

Disease vanishes, calamities cease to breed,

No more strife, no more lives to bleed.

Hearts radiate warmth, kindness on the lips,

For who knows the future, its turns and flips.

Life remains unchanged, all things will stay,

Sow seeds of blessings, in our own way!
