Too Much and Not Enough

Sometimes there are too many assholes to argue with

Too much brutality to be brave

Too much chaos to be clever

Too much distraction to be determined

Too much evidence to endure

Too much fascism to fight

Too much grief to go on

Too much hate to hope

Too much incompetence to be inspired

Too much judicial bias to get justice

Too much killing to keep the faith

Too much loss to let love lead

Too much mistrust to march

Too many Nazis to knock out

Too much oppression to overthrow

Too many pedophiles to put in prison

Too much quiet to question

Too much rage to resist

Too much sadness to stand up

Too much trauma to transcend

Too much urgency to unite

Too much violence to vote

Too much war to bear witness

Too many extremists to exile

Too late to wonder why

It won't be easy

But we must try!

It can be so difficult sometimes to see the glimmer of good in all the bad out there but we must! And this is a great reminder that all is not lost!

That first line said it all. But we rise up and fight because we know it’s right.

  • We must try indeed, and not let the baddies win
