Winter's Stillness Welcomes The Cosmo
For the challenge!

The frost arrives on tiptoes
Stars are blinking when the silence speaks louder
A thin veil that stretches its fingers
across the earth
touching the sky
and pull it closer.
The ground holds its breath—
breath of winter that paints the sky
like shattered glass, awakening each star
visible in the language of the universe and cosmic rays.
The immense feels so infinite
feels like something we might understand
if only we could stand still long enough
to listen.
But there's something else—
a stillness
not silence anymore
but a hidden humming
the universe is speaking
not with words
but in the language of distances too far to measure
of time too wide to fold into minutes.
Winter's breeze watches the stars
those pinpricks of fire
that have burned for eons
their light is finding us only now.
This moment—
here, in the frost
it reminds us
how small and how old
we really are...
We are stardust.
The winter night
a moment
of vastness feels like a gift
a quiet hum that calls us back
to what we were
and what we might be—
and the space between~
